As you can see, the videos combine live performance video and photographs, posed still images and sourced and created images and footage

Bands and performers often find the cost of music videos excessive, especially when they are just starting out or when they're trying to increase their profile and reach.


Another option is to have photographs taken for a music video someone else is making for you. The still images in The Rightful Loners video were taken by me, including the stop-action sequences. I wish I could say this was my idea but it was in fact the idea of my friend, and lead guitarist in the group, Chris Sewell, himself an excellent photographer who also was the sound engineer for the video.

Combining still images and video taken during a live performance, with still images and sourced footage, the audio was mixed from the performance and then select parts used to create a longer video displaying the range of songs and styles in the groups repetoire
